The Tennessee Titans head coach Jeff Fisher have decided to part ways after 16 seasons together.
Apparently, Fisher wanted his son to be a part of his coaching staff and was denied by owner Bud Adams.
Adams has said in the past that he doesn’t want family coaching hires and it looks like he stuck by his word.
It was assumed that Fisher was coming back once the team decided that Vince Young would be traded or released. ( Read More…)

The Tennessee Titans fumbled away their chance at a road win in a 23-20 loss to the Indianapolis Colts.
The Titans came up with a huge fumble late in the game and returned it into Indianapolis territory.
Tennessee was set up for at least a long-range attempt at the game-winning field goal when disaster struck.
Quarterback Kerry Collins bobbled the snap and then kicked the ball out of reach, allowing the Colts to scoop it up. ( Read More…)

The Tennessee Titans were unable to get anything going offensively in a 17-6 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Running back Chris Johnson carried the ball just 13 times for 53 yards, which is surprising to say the least.
This comes on the heels of a game in which Johnson did not receive a carry for the entire second quarter.
The Titans offense did play a little bit better in the second half, but all they could muster was two field goals. ( Read More…)

The Tennessee Titans generated absolutely nothing offensively in a 20-0 loss to the rival Houston Texans.
Running back Chris Johnson finished with just seven carries for five yards and didn’t touch the ball in the second quarter.
It was a bizarre offensive philosophy from the Titans, especially considering Rusty Smith was their starting quarterback.
Instead of trying to run the clock, condense the game and grind out yards on the ground, the Titans went to the air. ( Read More…)

Tennessee Titans head coach Jeff Fisher isn’t pleased with the way USC Trojans head coach Lane Kiffin hired away his running backs coach.
Fisher was caught off guard by the hire, saying Kiffin nor anyone from his staff bothered to call the Titans and let them know they were interested in speaking to one of his coaches.
The Titans head coach said that it was just the latest display of unprofessional behavior from Kiffin, who has been criticized by many in short time as a college football coach.
It also puts the Titans in a difficult position having lost their running backs coach less than a week before the start of training camp. ( Read More…)
